100 Word Film Reviews – 127 Hours

by limebirdaaron

The film that I will be reviewing this week in the 100 Word Film Reviews is 127 Hours.

127 Hours

127 Hours

If you’ve not yet seen this film then you’ve probably heard about it, which is why the whole thing kind of felt a bit inevitable. 99% of people watching it know what is going to happen and even when it’s going to happen, due to the name of the film. All of the early attempts to escape aren’t really that tense because you know they’re not going to work. Despite this I still feel like it was worth watching, simply for the brilliant acting of James Franco and also for the really graphic scene where he does finally get free.

Rating: 7 limes out of 10

  1. I’ve had this movie on my to do list forever. I’ve liked James Franco ever since be was on Freaks and Geeks.

  2. When I saw the trailer for the movie, I really did NOT want to see it. 😀 You seem to believe it is worth it so maybe I’ll pick it up sometime.

    • It’s not what you’d call an enjoyable watch, but it’s still good. I’m not the best with gross films, but there’s only one bad scene in this and it doesn’t last that long

  3. Yeah, I also found this movie a bit predictable but I did enjoy it! I wouldn’t say it would be one that I would rush to go and see again, but like you said, James Franco’s acting was really good in it!
