Writing Competitions and Opportunities Digest – Edition 8

by limebirdvanessa

Welcome to digest number 8! Anyone had any writing competition luck lately?

While we still have the summer with us, I thought we might like to sizzle a little with some hot romance writing, woo-hoo! Anyone up for it? If so, check out the first one on this week’s list!

If you missed the last edition of our digest, you can view it here.

Opportunity type – Publisher accepting non-agented submissions for e-book range.
Theme – Historical romance, with ‘a high level of sensuality’.
Word count – 10 to 15,000 words.
Organiser/publisher – Harlequin.
Reward – Not specified on the site (that I could find), but they are a large, well established publisher and do pay royalties in a fairly traditional publisher way as far as I’m aware!
Eligibility – not specified.
Deadline – Ongoing.
Link for infoHarlequin Historical Undone.
Notes – This is just one of the many romance lines and series they are accepting submissions for; some hard copy, some e-book, varying lengths, so do browse the site to see what else they are looking for that might be of interest.
