Well, my week has been brightened a bit, I’ve been nominated for The Paperclip Award! I think this is the first award that I’ve been given just to me, so it feels a bit weird, but thanks so much Victoria !
The award comes with some questions for me to answer. Here goes!
1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was very little I wanted to be a paediatrician, which I’m sure my mum was very excited about. However, I slowly realised that I was pretty pants at science, so writing took hold.
2. What is your ultimate favourite place to be? (Sorry had to add a ‘u’ there)
At home, in my bed sleeping! In terms of actual places, the best place I have ever ever visited that I love is Banff in BC, Canada.
3. Name one famous person who inspires you. (Just one!!!)
Nelson Mandela, nuff said.
4. Tea or Coffee?
Tea definitely. I love the smell of coffee, but I always end up disappointed when I try it. I usually drink either Mint Tea or decaf though. (Strong, milky and sugary please)
5. If you could be any other person for 48 hours, who would you be?
Jessica Alba, cause I’d like to know what it’s like to be that good looking! #girlcrush
6. What is your earliest memory?
Most of them just involve playing with my mum and lots of laughing.
7. If you could ask anyone in the world, living or dead, anything, who would you ask, and what would you ask them?
Hmm, all of my biological grandparents had sadly passed away before I was 8. I would quite like to be able to just speak to them all, even for a little while.
8. What is the scariest thing you have ever done?
Skydiving! Bloomin’ petrifying.
9. What is your favorite book?
I honestly couldn’t pick one, but recently I LOVED The Hunger Games.
10. Briefly explain one of the weirdest dreams you have ever had.
I suffer quite badly from night terrors, which include spiders crawling over me, scary faces right in my face, being strangled, snakes attacking me, being covered in blood etc. So… I would say those, haha.
11. What one song best describes you? (Feel free to post a link to a Youtube vid)
Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls. I love this song and it’s followed me everywhere and it reminds most people of me.
12. Pen or pencil?
Hmm, tough one. I use a pen more regularly, but sometimes I just love writing in pencil.
13. Is 13 an unlucky number or not?
No, I don’t think so.
